Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims to have captured a second US autonomous underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz, identifying it as an Mk 18 Mod 2 Kingfish. US reporting disputes the claim and indicates that American systems are accounted for. The alleged capture therefore remains independently unverified.
