Local officials and the Palestine Red Crescent reported attacks in at least eight northern West Bank villages on 16 October during the olive harvest. The Red Crescent said medics treated 14 wounded people.

In Abu Falah, settlers beat residents and Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine, who was hospitalised. Israel’s military condemned the violence and acknowledged that a journalist had been injured. The incidents occurred amid the annual harvest, when access to olive groves is especially sensitive.
