The Danish Defence Intelligence Service has released a new public assessment warning that Russia may further intensify hybrid activity against NATO and Western states over the coming months. FE assesses that the risk of limited Russian military action against a NATO member remains low but is increasing while the war in Ukraine continues.
The assessment also states that a large-scale attack remains unlikely, although it can no longer be fully excluded. The document represents a formal update to the threat picture rather than a political statement.
