The British government will provide closed-door threat briefings to senior representatives from defence companies and operators of critical national infrastructure on security threats associated with Russia.
The initiative covers risks including cyber activity, sabotage, disinformation and hostile activity conducted directly or through proxies.
The measure represents a practical extension of the UK threat assessment into protective security, providing sensitive sectors with intelligence-derived information intended to improve resilience against hostile-state activity.
